Chinese New Year
The community came alive with vibrant celebrations in JLT to welcome the Chinese New Year! This year, it was the Year of the Dragon, and not just any dragon, but the enchanting Wood Dragon believed to bring good luck, strength, and a dash of mythical charm.
Our celebration that took place on 10th February at JLT Park was filled with colourful displays and rich traditions. Attendees were treated to mystical dragon and lion dances, lively drum show, and lucky fortune-filled cookies. But the fun didn't stop there – the little ones unleashed their inner artists at our arts and crafts station and transformed into lucky charms with our Chinese-themed face art at the face painting station.
The festivities immersed the community members in the richness of Chinese traditions, as they danced with our parade, basked in the glow of lantern-lit nights, and joined friends and family in welcoming the Year of the Dragon in style.
