Rules and FAQs

What are the requirements to join the community dog walk?

• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, no exceptions
• Walkers must carry waste bags and clean up after their dogs if the situation arises
• You must stay on the dedicated path during the walk, you will not be allowed to take a new route

How long will the walk be?

The community dog walk will follow a 1.5km route around Lake D, cluster X.

What time do I need to be there?

The walk will start at 7:30am – we ask that you arrive at 7:15am to the designated meeting point.

How can you ensure the safety of our dogs on the walk?

In order to ensure the safety of your furry friends, we require all dogs to be kept on a lead during the walk. If your dog is not good with other pets, we ask that you either walk further away from other dogs, or that this event is skipped.

Additionally, we ask that you remain cautious and aware around small children to prevent any accidents.

Do we have to register for the event?

Yes, we encourage registrations beforehand so that we can ensure the event does not go over capacity.

What else do I need to bring for the event?

We ask that you bring your own water and snacks for yourselves and your pets. Waste bags and leads are also required. We ask that you clean up after your dogs in order to help keep our community clean.

Where can I park if I don’t live in Cluster X or nearby clusters?

Free parking will be available for those joining us in parking areas in Cluster X.
