Dubai has no shortage of good restaurants. The harder question, especially for date night restaurants in Dubai, is what makes one dinner worth choosing over another. Taste JLT is a good answer. JLT's first food festival runs from 29 May to 14 June, with over 30 restaurants offering curated two and three-course set menus at fixed prices. Each kitchen has built something tailored for this 16-day window. After 14 June, they're gone.
Six date night restaurants worth booking at Taste JLT
1. Mythos Kouzina & Grill
For the dinner that feels like someone invited you home.
Soft Greek music, white-washed walls, and a complimentary basket of homemade sourdough and kalamata olives on the table before you've ordered a thing. That's Mythos. The set menu moves through classic Greek flavours: spanakopita, baked feta, sea bass with lemon-olive oil, and a portokalopita that lingers long after the last bite. Warm, unhurried, and genuinely good value. It impresses without trying. Highly Commended for Best Greek at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2026, and one of the best evenings in JLT.

2. CQ French Brasserie
For the evening that feels effortlessly French.
Warm lighting, Bordeaux wood panelling, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to forget there's anywhere else to be. CQ is JLT's neighbourhood brasserie in the truest sense, polished enough for a proper date, relaxed enough to stay until close. The Taste JLT set menu is French classics done with confidence and care. Add the pain perdu to finish. You will not regret it. Named an award-winning French brasserie by Time Out Dubai.

3. NOLA Eatery & Social House
For the night that starts with a cocktail and ends with live jazz.
NOLA runs on New Orleans energy. Cajun heat, a live band, and a room that gets louder and warmer as the evening rolls on. It's one of JLT's most spirited spaces, the kind of place where the music pulls you in before the food arrives, and keeps you long after the plates are cleared. The Taste JLT set menu leans into that spirit, bold Southern flavours from start to finish.

4. Canary Club
For when the setting does half the talking.
One of JLT's most distinctive spaces, Canary Club goes full Seventies West Coast from floor to ceiling. Rattan, flickering candles, shag pile, and a room that turns properly moody after sundown. It sits in its own building at Banyan Tree Residences, which means the moment you arrive feels deliberate. The Taste JLT menu matches it, with the bold, cross-cultural flavours that hold their own against the atmosphere.

5. Hawkerboi
For the date that doesn't do predictable.
You're in for a wild card with this one. Red neon overhead, low lighting, and wok smoke drifting from an open kitchen that means business. Hawkerboi started as a secret supper club, selling out across Dubai before it ever had a permanent address. That energy never left. Tucked into The Park in JLT, it does Southeast Asian street food with serious intent and zero pretension. Bold, punchy flavours from start to finish, at one of the best price points in the festival. Named Best Pan-Asian at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2026.

5. Nonya
For the night that earns the view.
Forty-four floors up, skyline at eye level, and nowhere else you'd rather be. Nonya sits at the top of the Taj with floor-to-ceiling windows and a city stretching out in every direction. The kitchen draws on Peranakan roots, Malaysian and Singaporean at its heart, with a Pan-Asian range that lets you order broadly and still eat well. The best vantage point in JLT, at one of the festival's best price points.

How to book
The Taste JLT set menus run from 29 May to 14 June 2026 only. These are festival-exclusive menus, not permanent additions. Grab your table early
The offers close on 14 June. After that, the festival wraps up, and these menus do too. If you've been meaning to plan a proper evening out, this is both the reason and the deadline. Pick a restaurant, pick a night, and book it.
