Your Guide to JLT Park

14 Apr, 2026 | Jolly Jenny

JLT Park is one of the most popular outdoor spaces in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, and for good reason. Free to enter and open around the clock, it brings together residents across the community for fitness, leisure, and everything in between. Here is what you need to know before you visit.

Overview of JLT Park

JLT Park is located behind Cluster Q and sits alongside one of the community's three man-made lakes. It was developed as part of DMCC's master plan for JLT, opening in 2014 to give residents a dedicated outdoor space at the heart of the community.

What to do at JLT Park

The park is divided into clear zones, so different activities can take place at the same time without getting in each other's way. There is a good range of options, whether you are visiting as a family, coming for a workout, or just looking for somewhere to sit.

Jogging and walking

A dedicated jogging track runs through the park on a soft, cushioned surface that is noticeably easier on the joints than pavement. It is wide enough for both runners and walkers, well-lit throughout, and popular from early morning until late in the evening. The route takes you through the landscaped sections of the park, making it one of the more pleasant places to get your steps in around JLT.

Children's playground

The playground is split into two areas catering to different age groups. Younger children have a dedicated toddler zone with a sand surface, smaller slides, and swings. For older children, the main area steps things up with climbing frames, complex slides, spider-web nets, and a zip line. Equipment is well-maintained, and the space is regularly cleaned.

Basketball and football court

The JLT basketball court in Cluster O is full-size and fenced, seeing regular use throughout the day and particularly in the evenings when temperatures drop. It is a popular spot for pickup games and friendly matches among teenagers and adults alike, and can be reserved through SK Performance Club Services by Koora Sports. The football pitch in Cluster O is also available to book through the same service. For a free option with no reservation needed, there are half basketball courts in Clusters H and L.

Outdoor fitness stations

Exercise machines are positioned at intervals along the jogging track, allowing visitors to combine cardio with resistance work in a single circuit. The stations cater to a range of fitness levels and are a practical alternative for those who prefer outdoor training to an indoor gym.

Open lawns and picnic areas

The open lawns are spacious, well-kept, and genuinely inviting. You will regularly see families spreading out across the grass, friends throwing a frisbee, and individuals sitting with a book. Benches are spread throughout in both shaded and open spots, making it easy to find a comfortable place to sit at any time of day.

Community events in JLT Park

JLT Park regularly plays host to community events and activations throughout the year, including the Winter Festival and Cinema Under the Stars. These events are a big part of what makes the park a social space rather than just a recreational one. To see what is coming up, visit the JLT What's On page or follow JLT on social media.

Plan your visit

JLT Park works because it accommodates a wide range of people without trying to be everything at once. It suits a regular runner, a family spending a Saturday afternoon, a group on the basketball court, and someone sitting quietly on a bench with a coffee.
As a free, 24/7 green space at the centre of one of Dubai's most connected communities, visting JLT Park is one of the more straightforward additions to a weekly routine. For more on what is happening across JLT, visit the What's On page or explore the full JLT directory.
