Saturday movie nights beneath the JLT skyline
Every Saturday from October to January, JLT Park turns into an open-air cinema. Families spread out blankets on the grass, neighbours who have never spoken share a bucket of popcorn, and the towers make a fairly good backdrop.
Entry is free, and you are welcome to bring your own chair, blanket and snacks. If you would rather not carry anything, a beanbag and a fresh bucket of popcorn is AED 30, booked in advance through the line-up below.
The programme mixes family titles early in the season with a few late-night classics closer to February. Films are announced a fortnight ahead, so subscribe if you want first pick — the beanbags go quickly on animation nights.

Getting to JLT Park
JLT Park, Cluster Q
Find Cinema Under the Stars in Cluster Q in between Splendour Fields and the kids playground.
- Metro: Sobha Realty Metro Station, Red Line. Exit 1, then a five-minute walk through Cluster R.
- Parking: Paid parking available in Clusters Q and R, and the JLT Park.
- Access: Step-free from the promenade. Accessible toilets in Cluster Q.
- Drop-off: Taxi and ride-hail drop-off in Cluster Q, Cluster R, or the JLT Park.
