Diwali in the Park

A night to light up the neighbourhood

On Sunday, November 8, the JLT community comes together to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. Dance to festive beats, grab a plate of pani puri, snap a family photo at the photo booth, or get crafty. There’s a corner for every age.

Entry is free, so come in festive wear or come as you are, and bring the whole family along for a night of Diwali magic.

What to expect on the night

Dance and drums

Dancers in traditional costume and Indian drummers take the stage through the evening, with a DJ playing festive Indian music in between.

Pani puri and chai

Pani puri and chai stations to refuel between dances, while stocks last.

Diwali crafts

Craft stations where kids (and grown-ups who fancy a go) can make their own Diwali decorations to take home.
